1. Payment Methods
Finix Adventures accepts secure online payments through Pesapal, which allows customers to pay using:
- M-Pesa
- Visa cards
- Mastercard
- Mobile wallets supported by Pesapal
All payments are processed through Pesapal's secure payment infrastructure and Finix Adventures does not store your card or payment details.
2. Booking Confirmation
A booking will only be confirmed once:
- Full payment is received or
- A deposit payment has been successfully processed
After payment confirmation, a booking confirmation email and itinerary will be sent to the email address provided during checkout.
Finix Adventures reserves the right to decline or cancel a booking if payment authorization fails or if fraudulent activity is suspected.
3. Deposits and Installment Payments
For selected safari packages and events, Finix Adventures may allow:
- Partial deposit payments
- Installment payments under a Lipa Mdogo Mdogo model
The remaining balance must be paid before the safari departure date shown in your booking confirmation.
Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the booking.
4. Pricing
All prices displayed on the Finix Adventures website are:
- Quoted in Kenyan Shillings (KES) for residents
- Quoted in US Dollars (USD) for non-residents where applicable
Prices may change without prior notice due to park fee adjustments, accommodation rate changes, government taxes and fuel price fluctuations.
Confirmed bookings will retain the price paid at the time of confirmation.
5. Refund and Cancellation Policy
Customer Cancellation
- 7 days or more before departure: eligible for partial refund minus administrative and transaction fees
- Less than 7 days before departure: non refundable
- No-show on departure day: non refundable
Transaction charges charged by Pesapal may be deducted from refunds.
Company Cancellation
Finix Adventures reserves the right to cancel a tour due to severe weather conditions, security concerns, operational challenges or insufficient participant numbers.
In such cases, customers may receive a full refund or the option to reschedule the tour.
6. Chargebacks
Customers are encouraged to contact Finix Adventures directly before initiating a chargeback with their bank or card issuer.
Fraudulent chargebacks or payment disputes may lead to booking cancellation and possible legal action.
7. Security
All transactions are encrypted and processed through Pesapal's secure payment gateway. Finix Adventures does not access or store sensitive financial information such as card numbers or M-Pesa PINs.
Customers should ensure they are using secure internet connections when making payments.
8. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate personal information during booking
- Arriving at pickup locations on time
- Carrying valid identification where required
- Ensuring travel insurance where necessary
Failure to comply may result in missed tours without refund.
9. Liability
Finix Adventures acts as a tour operator coordinating services such as transport, accommodation, safari experiences and local guides.
While we strive to provide high quality services, Finix Adventures shall not be liable for loss of personal belongings, delays caused by weather or road conditions or injuries caused by wildlife encounters outside reasonable control.
10. Privacy
Customer information collected during payment and booking is used solely for processing bookings, customer communication and service delivery.
Finix Adventures will never sell or share customer information with unauthorized third parties.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Kenya.
Any disputes arising from payments or bookings shall be resolved within the jurisdiction of Kenyan courts.
